Rate Continued

We are going to continue or work with distance, time and rate. Students will be working through some additional problems : Practice A, Practice B or Enrichment and Extension. We will also plan to take a short quiz tomorrow based on material from section 5.3.

In addition, students were introduced to Scratch. Scratch is a computer programming tool developed by MIT. Scratch is freely downloadable and follows an open source model. Students are encouraged to share ideas and "code."
