Students will observe the relationship between the number of decimal places in the factors and the number of decimal places in the product.
Previous Learning:
In Chapter 2, students learned how to multiply fractions and write decimals as fractions. In Grade 5, students learned that powers of 10 are written as 10x, where x is a counting number.
