Today we take our first step in becoming 6th Grade Mathematicians. We will be working on an activity addressing how to evaluate algebraic expressions. We will start with a short video clip and then move into the lesson. It has been a great first week, let's wrap it up with some hard work today.

Previous Learning: Students need to be familiar with variables and how they are used.

Activity Objective: To understand simple word problems, and then write and evaluate mathematical expressions that corresponds to the given situations
