We are moving on to Section 1.2 Writing Expressions. Students will be completing an activity identifying keywords mathematical expressions. The vocabulary crossword puzzle and word find for Chapter 1 is due on Friday. Students should use the glossary in the back of their student journal as a resource.

Activity Objective: Students should be able to write algebraic expressions to represent phrases that include words corresponding to the operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Previous Learning: Students need to be familiar with variables and how they are used.
